Ready for personal support and expert eyes on your form? Work 1-on-1 with Karen and other KBW Coaches to build strength safely and confidently. These private sessions are perfect if you’re just starting out, returning to training, or want to deepen your skills.

Amplify Your Training
Complement your Virtual Strength Studio experience with private sessions, to dig into personalized modifications that consider your own unique history of injuries, current health condition, and experience level with strength training. Many of the women you will meet in the VSS Live Classes have had 1:1 personalized training along their strength journey. And some see Karen 1x/month for a check-up to address current concerns and upgrades to their kettlebell technique and bell size recommendations. While we aim to give you tons of personalized attention in classes, there is nothing that replaces a 1:1 session where you can ask questions that apply directly to your own needs, injuries, and experience. Periodic private sessions are highly recommended.
Please note: These are an add-on to the VSS, not part of the all-access membership ;).
Karen continues to offer on-line and in-person sessions for all levels of fitness, and all levels of interest in kettlebells as a strength tool. She gets that kettlebells are hard to pack in a suitcase, and loves getting creative with teaching you how to push, pull, hinge, and squat, without any equipment.

With well over two decades as a professional Classical Violist and 1000+ hours of yoga teacher training, my path to kettlebell coaching is rooted in a deep respect for mindful movement. Kettlebells became my preferred strength tool because they seamlessly combine awareness, efficiency, and power—something I’ve sought across all my movement practices.
My training spans StrongFirst Kettlebell and Bodyweight, Egoscue Postural Alignment, Functional Movement Systems (FMS Level II), and influences like Fighting Monkey, Infinite Play, Flexible Steel, and Agatsu Mobility. This layered background allows me to coach in a way that supports both strength and longevity—especially for women 40+ navigating their changing bodies with curiousity and care.
Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of individuals—including musicians, artists, and yogis—build strength, improve posture, increase cardiovascular health, and develop confidence in movement. Whether you're brand new to strength or rekindling a relationship with your body, my goal is to take the intimidation out of fitness and invite you into a sustainable, intelligent practice.
Karen lives in the Annex area of Toronto, Canada and leases a beautiful little fitness studio in the Junction area of Toronto where you can come to see her in person.
