Finally — a smart, steady strength solution designed for women in peri and post-menopause who want to build muscle, boost bone density, and feel powerful in their changing bodies.
Rooted in my own story — a 49-year-old woman who discovered kettlebell strength training as an empowering and calming way to build simple, lasting strength, confidence and resilience during midlife — this isn’t just another workout plan. It’s a complete strength solution that fits your life.

StrongFirst Kettlebell (SFG I)
Egoscue Postural Alignment Specialist (PAS I)
Master of Music (MMus)
With well over two decades as a professional Classical Violist and 1000+ hours of yoga teacher training, my path to kettlebell coaching is rooted in a deep respect for mindful movement. Kettlebells became my preferred strength tool because they seamlessly combine awareness, efficiency, and power—something I’ve sought across all my movement practices.
My training spans StrongFirst Kettlebell and Bodyweight, Egoscue Postural Alignment, Functional Movement Systems (FMS Level II), and influences like Fighting Monkey, Infinite Play, Flexible Steel, and Agatsu Mobility. This layered background allows me to coach in a way that supports both strength and longevity—especially for women 40+ navigating their changing bodies with curiousity and care.
Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of individuals—including musicians, artists, and yogis—build strength, improve posture, increase cardiovascular health, and develop confidence in movement. Whether you're brand new to strength or rekindling a relationship with your body, my goal is to take the intimidation out of fitness and invite you into a sustainable, intelligent practice.
Karen lives in the Annex area of Toronto, Canada and leases a beautiful little fitness studio in the Junction area of Toronto where you can come to see her in person.

StrongFirst Kettlebell Coach
Once I started to understand that knowing my weakness is a strength, that's when kettlebells changed my life. I am passionate about women finding their strength and not shying away from it. Kettlebells built my confidence by gaining little goals and then I realized how much I could translate my capacity in a workout to overcome my "quit switch" in my every day life. I overcame a lot of personal obstacles due to and during my certification process for Strongfirst.
Kettlebells are also just a simple, fun skill to learn! I aim to age well and live long due to my passion for the kettlebell!
